Kellie Martin is an American actress and film director popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. In addition, she is famous for playing the lead role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was the daughter of a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career as an actress at age seven. Her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped Martin land a role in 1981's series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness, landing roles on both the small screen and big. Martin, in addition to being an accomplished dancer and actress, is also a successful ballet photographer. Two daughters are hers and a son, she is also the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness about the condition every day since the death of her sister at 19 years old.
